  1. Rummynose Review by Aquanut
    Customer Rating

I ordered these last year. Have finally decided to write a review on them.

Also to put a lid on the complaints of them being uncolored. To those that received uncolored Rummynose, the reason for this is because the fish you received are female. To be safe you should order at least 10 at a time to ensure you at least get 4-5 males which are the colorful ones.

Also they will only color up if your tank conditions are good and healthy. For me and my planted aquarium all arrived uncolored but within 2 hours the males started to show their blue and orange. At present they pretty much look like the pictures above - except the females of course which are just plain silver in color. But really if your tank conditions are not right they will always be shy from stress and will not color (that is assuming you have any males at all)

Unfortunately being in this hobby you take the good with the bad I personally don't mind the females bland colors as it's all part of nature. (Posted on 27/02/12)

  3. Rummy Nose Review by Taylor

The fish its self arrived un coloured and to this day hasen't coloured up, would of been nice if they where shipped coloured or atleast told they come with out colour. Just a small tip, but still no colour.

Apart from that, all four fish arrived alive. Good service and good packaging. (Posted on 25/07/11)

  4. Cool Fish Review by Tramac
    Customer Rating

I ordered five of these guys, have four left after the smallest female that arrived died.

Still waiting and hoping that the males develop the vibrant blue colour as seen in these pics.

All in all though they are a great addition to the tank. (Posted on 4/06/11)

  5. Fairly dull, but placid Review by Shain
    Customer Rating

The female is quiite a plain fish, but the male has great colour when you can get it to come out. Very shy fish. Like to hang around the plants and driftwood. I bought 4, 3 females and 1 male. My male was eaten by my long-armed shrimp and now the others are just plain decoration (Posted on 11/03/11)

  6. Fantastic service Review by Paul

Asked for 6 of these guys among 11 other fish. Love them. From the Eastern States to Port Hedland in the West is hard enough trip for humans!! All fish were healthy and happy after a very short time.Great service!! (Posted on 5/03/11)

  7. BURMESE RUMMYNOSE Review by SimFish
    Customer Rating

All arrived timely and alive. They look the part once they regain color after transport shock, though not as blue as the pictures I've still got my fingers crossed :D

Either way they have a lot of character and really add to the excitement in the tank. (Posted on 4/03/11)
