Melanochromis Maingano 4-5cm

added 3 of these to my set up with 3 other Maingano and 6 yellow labs. was worried the 3 mainganos would bully them as they were quite a bit smaller. i rearranged the tank shortly after puting them in and that stopped all the aggression. they are now very happy after 2 weeks. (Posted on 27/12/11)

I ordered 5 of these along with some other fish and they all arrived safe and sound all packaged in seperate bags. There color and size was good, it really sets off the tank.

It appears that they saw I ordered five and did there best to pick a good male/female ratio. Might have been luck, but I am not normally that good with luck haha (Posted on 15/12/11)

Fish settled in well, the yellow labs like to gang up on 2 Mangiano's but they quickly showed them whos boss. Not overly aggressive but they will defend their space and like to dig tunners under rocks and ornaments. Nice colouring too. (Posted on 8/09/11)

I added a couple of these little fellas to my 4ft cichlid tank with electric yellows and electric blues. They disappeared for a few days but when the eventually established themselves they became very active and fearless. They are a very attractive and healthly little fish and I'm looking forward to seeing them grow up. (Posted on 25/05/11)

I had 2 of these little fish (4cm) arrive safe and well with 8 other cichlids after being in transit for 2 days! They are in with Demasoni and Electric Yellows and have no trouble being with larger fish (10-15cm). The larger one of the same species that i already had is an entertaining fish who moves large piles of sand around the tank as it suits him making big holes unders rocks. Great to watch and i'm sure the new babies will be just as entertaining when they grow up! A good fish to keep with Demasoni etc. as they will hold their own. (Posted on 30/11/10)
