Goyder River Rainbowfish has got too easily been on the list of the top 5 most popular rainbow species. These fish stunning native Australian fish are loved all over the world and were one of the main reasons that Australian rainbowfish became popular. Goyder River rainbowfish are a larger species and a school of these fish will look absolutely stellar in a planted aquarium as the rainbow array of colours really presents itself. These colours are also naturally occurring which is quite surprising as it is usually only achieved in selectively bred fish.

All happy and healthyWent for 8 banded rainbows while they where half price, All arrived on time and in great heath, and over a week later in quarantine (unlit, with small artificial barrier and floating plant cover) they've shown nice colours and a beautiful blue and purple sheen. Though they did arrive bigger than expected ( between 4-7 cm) so had to upgrade filtration,but it works for me as I can add them to the main aquarium sooner instead of having to grow them out :D. Overall very happy with these fish and service.

Awesome fishAwesome fish, a must for a planted or native tank. They have already started to colour up and they enjoy schooling around with my Congo tetras. These guys love their bloodworms.

Nice fish and good sizeOrdered 3 fish and all arrived happy and healthy. They were all a good size but lacking any colour whatsoever.
They have been in my community tank for just over two weeks now and have settled in well. They were the biggest of a number rainbows I ordered and have started to get their adult colours. Getting younger fish may be painful for those who lack the patience to wait for them to take on adult colours but it is worth it and if looked after you can be certain you will be enjoying them for a long time to come.Posted on

Healthy fishThese were the smallest fish I purchased in my order but some of the most energetic. Even after transport they were happy to be in the tank and started computing up the next day.

Goyder River RainbowThis was the 1st time I have ordered from Live Fish and the fish and service really impressed me. These fish arrived quickly and already have beautiful colours. They were and are healthy and active. I can't recommend them enough.

GreatI purchased 2 of these fish. They arrived a bit pale but healthy and active. One of them was larger than 5 cm and has since coloured up very nicely. The other one is also starting to show some nice colour . Very happy with my purchase . Thank you.

No ColourArrived fit and healthy, although lacking colour after their trip. Problem being that even now 3 weeks later they are still pale grey and colourless? Eating well and active - just no colour?
