Great.Mine arrived healthy and seems happy, it was undersized, about 3cm, but I was kind of hoping for a small one anyway as I've got another baby in there. No aggression yet so they se great. Very happy.

Green TerrorsVery territorial when older. Will defend their chosen territory and this can make them hard to keep with other fish especially if they are smaller. They become agreesive to other tank inhabitants when approaching breeding age, especially if paired.
Truly beautiful fish which are intelligent and wonderful to watch. Must have a large tank to start with. They will grow into big fish. They need a variety of of food and mine are fed live, frozen, fresh and dried food.
Truly rewarding to keep. As with all cichlids. they can be messy and they move things in their tanks. I have found keeping Australian yabbies (freshwater crays) with larger cichlids a benficial arrangement as the yabbies are happy to pick up whatever the cichlids drop or spit. You must provide tunnels for the crays and remove them if they become too big. They will nip at fins if they can. The two species will keep each other amusedPosted on
