The Axolotl, also known as the Mexican Walking Fish, is one of the most fascinating and unusual amphibians kept in the aquarium hobby. Unlike most amphibians, axolotls remain in their larval stage throughout their entire life, a phenomenon known as neoteny. This gives them their signature appearance, with feathery external gills, a wide mouth, and a lizard-like body.

Great experience and healthy axolotl! My axolotl came this morning, and once put in his new tank he seems to be thriving! Eating great! Only downside is I would love if we could choose or at least put a preference into what colour we would like. But overall a great experience!

You should handle Axolotls as little as possibleTheir skin is quite delicate and it will damage their mucus coating.
