Both of them arrived pale and skittish, but their stripes started coming back after putting the bag in the tank.
Hopefully they'll settle in well. (Posted on 12/05/11)

  11. Greqat fish Review by Great cleaners
    Customer Rating

Great fish. they defiantly cleaned my tank of the alge. I had a huge problem so i did my research and bought six of them now my tank is looking alot better..

Not over rated. A very good community fish and can grow as big as 12cm yet at that size still very placid. they like to have a school of about 3 ot 4 but still do okay on there own. i find it very hard to breed them and rarely breed in captivity

  12. good addition Review by chris
    Customer Rating

Lively fish that squabbles with his own kind. In my opinion overrated as algae eaters unless minimal food is added to tank. This fish will greedily eat anything and neglect the algae. Bristlenoses in my opinion are more effective for algae control.
Excellent quality fish from live fish though. (Posted on 6/02/11)

  15. 2 eaten 1 survived Review by Charles
    Customer Rating

    An update.

The two that were eaten... well that's just tough luck.

One has managed to survive and is quite large now.

If they were sold larger they would survive better in my tank. (Posted on 29/12/10)

  16. Great fish Review by kerry
    Customer Rating

They were tiny when I got them, was worried another fish would eat them by accident. But they grew fast and turn into attractive and very efficient algae eaters. Two of them keep my 200L tank spotless and if I drop in some plants that do have algae on them from my other tank, they're onto it straight away and clean it up ridiculously fast without damaging leaves. Make sure you give them some zucchini to munch on :) (Posted on 20/11/10)

I just love these little guys! They keep your tank squeaky clean and are a nice addition to any tank.
They get along with all the fish in my tank and like to be in a group. Nice hardy fish and good "housekeepers" (Posted on 25/10/10)
