Sparkling Gourami Trichopsis pumilus 1-2cm

Almost 2 months ago I bought 6 of these for my AR 380 tank. They arrived at 2-3 centimeters in size, and have grown another 0.5cm since then. They are all still alive and healthy, and have amazing colours and personality! I have them with a couple of small kuhli loaches and a male endler. One warning, though: despite what I was led to believe (not by Livefish) they will not just snag a small cherry shrimp here or there, they will together actively hunt down and destroy shrimp of any size, large females preferred. They decimated my colony of 50 cherry shrimp in this tank! (Posted on 17/09/11)

Got 4 of these little guys, all arrived alive and healthy, they are only small but have staked out an area in my weed where they always hang out. Mine are in with Peppered, Pygmy, Emerald, Many Spot, Catfish as well as some young sterbai catfish, 2 Borneo Loaches and some young Bristle noses and some cherry shrimp so nothing that is going to make a meal of them. He came at about 0.5cm long=( now he is 2cm=) and still growing, even at this small size you can see the nice colours on this fish (Posted on 17/01/11)

He's a pretty cute guy but very very timid. Don't put him in a tank with big fish, I have him in with tetras. (Posted on 26/10/10)
