These fish prefer a larger aquarium and lots of swimming space. Place plants around the inside edges of the perimeter and use wood for the decor. Though they will pick up leftover foods from the bottom of the aquarium, they do so daintily with very little disturbance to the substrate or the plants.

Sharktastic Review by Tim
Customer Rating Wow what an amazing fish this one is. People said they don't school, but I have 4 babies and they go everywhere together so far and sleep together in happy bliss.
Awesome! (Posted on 15/09/11) -
Big Fish Review by lara & Jay
Customer Rating My Black shark is about 7 years old now and over a foot long, He unfortunately is territorial to the two foot long ghost knife fish and chases them when they are playing.
He constantly chases my clown loaches and does not like new fish in the tank. For this reason I have to sell him but no one will take him because he is too big.

UPDATE Review by Michelle Black
Customer Rating UPDATE.. well I have an update on my mate Jaws. Well he's now over 20cm, and I had to move him out of my community tank, he became a bit fin nippy! So Jaws is now living with my Oscar Hannibal and loving it. Jaws has gone through a recent growth spourt and grew a couple of cms in a couple of weeks, really amazing, never seen anything like it, I thought Oscars grew quick, nothing on this dude!
I would recommend these guys to anyone who has the space for them and who want a very interesting fish, they also make good vacuums! (Posted on 18/07/10)
